Hello!

Basicly I have a huge problem. To make a long story short, my mom and my stepdad got virus, a "Trojan Horse Downloader.agent.ETP" (acording to AVG Free Antivirus, which they use), which infected wininet.ddl and ended up deleted the file. Now internet won't work and an errormessage pops up every two seconds.

Help :S

Do you have xp install disc?

Also, try searching the entire C drive for wininet.dll as there may be a backup in your dllcache which is a hidden system folder in c:\windows\system32.

If you find it, just copy it back to the system32 folder, restart and that should fix it :)
