Hi all, I hope you can help me here.
I've just upgraded several bits of hardware:

AMD Athlon 64 3500+ 32/64Bit CPU S9
Asus A8N-SLI SE S939 NF4 SLi DDR400
2 x 512Mb PC3200 (PC400) DDR Memory
460W Akasa Black Nickel Ultra quiet
Powercolour ATI Radeon X700 SE PCI Express Graphics

I booted from my windows CD and chose to repair the existing installation. It all seemed to work fine. Then after set up completed, when i come to the screen asking me how i want to start windows i.e. something like:
Safe Mode
Safe mode with command prompt
Last working configuration
Start Windows normally
At this point, whatever way i choose to start windows, the pc just restarts almost immediately after selection. I really dont know what to do!
One thing, that may also be relevant. My hard drive is partitioned into 4 parts. When i try to boot in safe mode, and all the files start loading, they are listed as ...
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS\System32.. etc.
I suspect that it should be c:\WINDOWS ... etc.
Perhaps this is the source of the problem. I really dont know.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
