I am running a windows xp pc (SP3) with a Radeon X850 XT display adaptor and want my monitor to turn off after fiveminutes of inactivity.
I have no problems setting this in the power saving options - and it works for a few days - but then it stops working and my screen is continually on.
I wonder if the power saving settings are being deleted by a virus scanner (I run Avira) or some other programme?
Any help much appreciated.
