I would try this:

1 - Shutdown and disconnect all USB devices (including any internal devices)

2 - Boot up, and in Device Manager, delete all entries under the USB category

3 - reboot

4 - reboot again

5 - Shut down and reconnect any internal USB devices

6 - Boot up, and try your camera

 

How do I get to device manager? my flash drive works btw. though it did the same message at first, but then it worked.
