i cant hear any sound on music players online(offline works fine), flash games, or youtube
but, i can hear sounds like WELCOME, on aol.webmail and tones and some things. also on a maby unrelated note. other music sites prompt me to download the music when i hit play instead of playing it on the internet.
for aol radio.(btw no one else is able to help so far thats why im here)
i downloaded the adobe dubugger version and i get this message but i dont know what to do. THe songs skip constantly with out me pushing any buttons and i cant hear any volume, i checked again and the volume is out from everything on the internet allmost except whats mentioned above. My sound card, and other applications have sound, and i can hear some sounds on the internet,windows media player win amp and other things work fine. i have all the required files for system 32. volume is not muted. ive added these to my registry.

ive made sure nothing is muted, changed my sound scheme, play sound in internet was allready enabled. i dont seem to have any virus. everyting is checked for media types to use in internet explorer.
i have realtek ac97 installed

ive searched the internet for a total of about 15 hours or more on this one or i wouldnt be asking for help, in all my years of ocmputers this is the first time ive tryd a forum , so.. please and tnx you allot.
edit: ive also tryd uninstalling and reinstalling all my drivers, and microsoft sound fix it tools. reinstalled internet explorer, then later found same problem is on firefox and google chrome.
also i tuned up volume is 7 ways..lol , to make sure.
and when i check to show volume icon in task bar the check mark is allready there, so i deselect and reselect nad hit apply but, still no icon in task bar, instead i have the sound manager real tek icon and options. as ive had since this started. But im not sure when that was i'd been too busy to worry about volume lately.
