Any ways to uninstall Vista other than format drive?

Is there any ways to uninstall vista without formatting drive. Because I do have dual boot system. My primary OS is Windows XP. So Vista located in other partition drive.

Reason why I don want formatting drive because my hard disk already formated already multiples times [forgot how many times(so many times.)
I afraid my hard disk spoil.

just format the partition vista is on and delete it and create a new one or add the blank space to the winxp one

I haven't heard that formatting causes disks to fail. The old "tales" about the head damaging the disk by constant formatting is humbug.
The head doesn't make contact with the disk surface, it rides on a cushion of air created by the spinning disk, so don't be worried about re-formatting unless you already have a faulty disk!

Delete the partition using a partition manager on XP then put in your xp disk and go into recovery console and do fixmbr and fixboot(this will remove the dualboot and cause it to go direcly into xp.)

Any ways to uninstall Vista other than format drive?
