How to get rid of Bing?

I can't get rid of the Bing toolbar. I have been using Google for so long that it is second nature and the few times I've tried Bing it proved less than satisfactory. What frustrated me the most has been trying to get rid of it.

I went into Managing Search Providers but Bing is listed as the default and it won't let me remove it. I was able to get rid of Ask.com but the Remove option is ghosted when I highlight Bing. I couldn't find it into Control Panel, Programs, Uninstall a Program or in Turn Windows Features On and Off. I know that it isn't the worst problem to have but nonetheless it is still annoying. :upset: Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Try this.

Enable IE8's toolbar. To do that, right click on IE8's toolbar and enable 'Menu Bar'.
Go to the 'Tools' menu and select 'Manage Add-ons'.
Select/Hightlight BING Tool bar and right click on 'Disable Suggestions'.

If there is another search provider in there, move it up to position 1, then right click Bing and click remove.
