Internet cutting out

For the past few months I have been having a problem with the internet cutting out. It does this about every 20-30 minutes and i either have to restart my computer or if i wait about 15 minutes it will work again... for about 20-30 minutes before it cuts out again. Words can not express how frustrating this is. In the taskbar it still says I'm connected to the internet but I cannot bring up a webpage, or even log into my router. I can however ping a website and get a response. Also when chatting with linksys today my internet cut out yet i was able to continue chatting. Linksys was pretty much no help, as they don't want to admit that linksys and vista don't get along.

I used to have a wireless b network adapter, I had this same problem so I bought a WUSB54GSC thinking it was the adapter that was the problem. Well I had the same problem with the new one from day one. I cannot update the drivers for this adapter as there is only one (version 1.00). I've tried turning the firewall off and I've tried all different usb ports, but neither worked. Somebody please, please help! Thanks, -Tucker

I might as well be talking to a wall rather than my isp... :upset:

It is wireless internet, I forgot to mention there is another computer on the network that does not have this issue at all, and it is running xp.

I don't know how to bypass the router...
