I have a Toshiba satellite laptop. It is running vista home premium. It gets to the welcome screen and then it just stays there and says please wait and it has the loading circle next to it. The laptop does boot into safe mode. The problem was apparently caused by updates but i removed the latest updates and tried system restore and no luck.
