Roxio 9.0 won't work without Internet connection

I have a new Dell with Windows Vista. It came with Roxio 9.0. However I can't get it to work offline. Any suggestions?

My name is Richard; I am part of Dell's Online Community Outreach group here in Round Rock, Texas. I read your post about Roxio not working offline. Do you mean offline as not connected to the internet? If this is indeed the case, what kind of network you use?
