Hello, I don't know if this is the right place to put this or not as i don't know whether this is a driver problem or soundcard issue, so i thought i would just put it in here...
So, I recently re-installed vista ultimate on my PC. Since then, when i pause a song on any media player i have tried (songbird, windows media player, windows media centre) when i try to play again after leaving it for a minute or so, the song doesn't play and the program crashes. Once that has happened, the sound on my PC doesn't work at all and I have to reboot. I have soundMAX integrated digital audio, which i know isn't great but i have had this PC for quite a while and it has never done this before. I haven't changed any specs, all i have done is reinstalled vista ultimate. I have tried to update the drivers for the soundMAX but it says they are already up to date. Any ideas?
Thanks
