i recently bought a gaming PC Laptop that runs the newest games at maximum setting with no problem at all, recently a game that i played in the past on the same computer started crashing randomly without any warning or any action within the game that seems to correspond with the game crashing. the game is called Civilization 5 which was released in 2011. i can play games that are as new as 2013 and 2014 for consoles with no lag no hang-ups and no random crashes i can also play games as old as 2008 without having to change my compatibility. Just to be clear my video drivers are up to date, i have all the resent updates for windows 8.1 and can play much more demanding games with no issues what so ever, i also played this game in the past on the pc with no problem. the only actions that i have done that might have something to do with the game crashing is that i both installed NORTON antivirus and windows 8.1 which i would think would be the problem but i would suspect that other games would crash as well. I’ve looked at forums random guesses at best with nothing but endless rants of discontent. My question is, is this the game is it my pc? I’m totally in the dark here......
