If it's virut, you need to wipe the machine immediately. Do not connect this machine to another one for you will infect that one too

Most of your system files have been compromised. If a security program tries to fix them, this will cause the machine to fail to boot.

I recommend that you back up your files. Do not back up any executable files. You may back up documents, pictures & music files. Burn them to a dvd/cd. If possible, do not transfer the files to another machine. Do a complete wipe of this machine & reinstall. It would be prudent to perform some scans on the backup files before restoring them. You do not want a repeat of this.

 

how do i "wipe out" so this is gone? will system restore work?

 

Wipe is a term used to mean a complete format of the entire disk.
It's not a repair install but a full & complete format.
