How do i turn off the firwall of a router?

I'm using a linksys router with 4 ports...
and after i used it.. i realize that i can't receive files from my frnds via icq... (but can with msn messenger...

)
and then i turned the firewall off inside windows... but it still doesn't work... then i realized that the router also has a firewall....
so the thing is... how do i turn it off?

cuz my sis is pissed off at me for nth cuz she can't receive files... emergency!!! she'll slaughter me if i don't get it fixed real quick... X( X( X(

ed ...do you have the linksys book....there is a master website that you log on to from internet explorer...user name is admin and password is blank...it start with 196.?.?.? so you would enter into the adress barr something to the effect http://196.?.?.? where ?= the right IP adress...not sure if they are standard ..if so another linksys owner might post thiers....this is the website that is local to your machine you dont need and internet connection...

then look through there....for a firewall setting/tab
